HOPE XV (2024): "Using the J Language to Streamline Hacking" (Download)
Saturday, July 13, 2024: 2:00 pm (Tobin 201/202): This talk will look at how the simplicity and interactivity of the J programming language allows us to easily work with data and code. You will see examples of steganography, direct manipulation of executable binaries, extracting and organizing data from the web, and general uses of J as a "glue" language to invoke external routines by preparing their inputs and processing their outputs. The talk will conclude with references to resources on learning and using this powerful, dynamic language.
