Saturday, July 17, 2010: 10:00 pm (Lovelace): A general overview of circuit bending, as well as its history, and some examples of really cool bends. An assortment of bent toys will be displayed. This talk will cover a good deal on the basics of bending, and some of the techniques used to coax the sounds out of a variety of toys. You'll learn what to look for in bendable toys, as well as techniques that are least likely to destroy toys. There will also be a basic workshop on circuit bending where people can build their own bent toy.
